This extinct volcano is located near the road and spans for 80 kilometers northwest of Bulgan town, through the region of Khutag Undur sum, from Bulgan town to Murun. The reserve has an area of 8 square kilometers and is 1.686 meters above sea level. It’s been preserved since 1965 and is now classified as a “Natural Monument.” A crater, 500 to 600 meters wide and 50 meters deep, sits atop the extinct volcano, filled with a small “crater lake” of 20 meters in diameter.
