Bayanzag, the widely renowned “Flaming Cliffs” is where American palaeontologist Roy Chapman Andrews discovered dinosaur fossils and eggs. The surrounding scenery is a stunning mix of rocks, red sand, shrubs, and desolation. The rock glows an orange color at sunrise and sunset. Togrogiin Shiree, Bugiin Tsav, Ulaan Tsav, Nemegt Uul, and Khermen Tsav are some of the prominent Bayanzag rich dinosaur fossil excavation sites in the Gobi.
