The Gobi Altai Mountain Range, which extends eastwards from the Mongolian Altai, is a smaller range of denuded mountains and hills that disappear into the vastness of the Gobi Desert.
Baga Bogd Mountain is one of the Gobi Altai Mountain Range’s three peaks. At 3.590 meters above sea level, the peak is the highest point in the area. Many uncommon creatures, such as Argali wild sheep and Siberian Ibex, can be found here.
