south mongolia

Baga Gazriin Chuluu is a large stone structure in the center of Mongolia’s sandy plains that is notable for its unusual rock formations.

The location provides ample hiking opportunities, with trails winding amid massive, endlessly stacked granite rocky hills that appear to have been placed there.

There are lovely remnants of a little monastery concealed in a nice little sheltered valley, as well as a climb worth taking between large endlessly stacked granite steep hills that appear to have been placed. In the cliffs of Baga Gazriin Chuluu, there is a little spring known for its eye-healing properties. Try dripping some holy water into your eyes to heal your eyes like the locals do.

Delgeriin Chior Monastery is nearby. Monks utilize the 12 walls Ger, which are artistically sculpted and carved, to chant during the colder seasons when the stone monastery becomes too chilly to be inside.
