Ikh Gazriin Chuluu

In Eastern Mongolia, unusual granite pinnacles stretch for around 20 kilometers from west to east. It’s a massive granite formation smack dab in the middle of Mongolia’s desert plain. The area is stunningly beautiful and home to a diverse range of wildlife. The mountain is revered and has great stories about monks and religion. Even by Mongolian standards, it is an uncommon and tranquil location. Cinereous vultures can be found here. Their white nest, which is coated in urine and excrement, is plainly visible.
