Ogii Nuur is a lake in Ogii sum, Arkhangai province, that is 1.337 meters above sea level. It comprises 25 square kilometers and is surrounded by grassy steppe with huge alluvial grassland, river channels, lakes, and marches. The lake’s maximum depth is 16 meters, but around 40% of it is less than 3 meters deep. The lake has a thriving fishing industry and is abundant in perch and pike. The lake of Ogii Nuur has a catch potential of 50 tons per year. The Swan Goose, White Spoonbill, and Dalmatian Pelican have all been seen in the lake, making it an important nesting and staging region for a variety of waterfowl.
