Shiliin Bogd Mountain, located 70 kilometers southeast of Dariganga sum’s center, is one of Dariganga’s several extinct volcanoes. The volcano, which stands at 1,778 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the Sukhbaatar aimag. Shiliin Bogd Mountain may be observed from all four sides at a distance of 60 kilometers. The volcano’s crater is about 2 kilometers across and 300 meters deep. In this area, there are approximately 180 extinct volcanoes. At the foot of the summit, there is a lesser mountain, Agtnii Khuree, with a spherical crater.
