south mongolia

Three small lakes, located on the Mongol Els and at the east-southeast corner of Ikh Mongol Mountain, make up Shireet Tsagaan Lake. Undur Gegeen Zanabazar was proclaimed a Bogd of Mongolian Buddhist religion when he was five years old, and the yellow girdle on the lake’s coast was built in 1639. According to legend, it was from there that our capital city was founded. The Shireet Tsagaan lake has a Gobi, Khangai, and alpine aspect. For instance, it is bordered by a sand dune, which attracts lizards, as well as cuckoo twitters and approximately 20-30 deer pastures in the woodland surrounding the lake.
