In Mongolia’s area, there are several remnants of an ancient human race. Archaeological findings in Bayanlig’s Tsagaan Agui and a stone weapon discovered in Baatsagan’s Uran Khairkhan hill attest to this.
According to these findings, the human species lived nearly 700 thousand years ago in Mongolian land. The cave is located in Bayanlig hamlet in Bayankhongor aimag, in a narrow canyon on the southern foothills of the Gobi Altai Mountain Range. It’s a Palaeolithic cave with an inside crystal-covered chamber.
