Tsambagarav Mountain

west Mongolia

Tsambagarav Mountain (4200 meters), Mongolia’s third highest peak and one of the country’s most beautiful snow-capped peaks, is located in a 110-thousand-hectare national park. Tsambagarav Uul, which is always snow-capped, crosses the border between Khovd and Bayan-Olgii aimags. Tsambagarav Mountain can be reached from either direction. Despite its height, this tall peak of 4208 meters provides very easy access to the summit.

Beautiful beauty, abundant wildlife, and archaeological sites can all be found in this area. It’s on my bucket list to visit Kazakh settlements. There are many glaciers and glacial lakes below the peaks, as well as waterfalls falling deep into gorges. The grassland in this valley is carpeted with alpine flowers in the summer. Hiking, horseback riding, and camel riding are the greatest ways to experience the area, and the park attracts people and offers abundance of outdoor activities in its pristine condition.
