The Khongoryn Els sand dunes are Mongolia’s largest and most magnificent sand dunes. The Duut Mankhan (singing dunes) are up to 800 meters high, 12 kilometers broad, and 100 kilometers long. The range’s greatest dunes are found in the northwest section. From the summit, the views of the desert are breathtaking. Dalanzadgad is roughly 180 kilometers away from the sand dunes.
