The book “The Secret History of the Mongols” mentions a number of locations. This is where the novel was completed. In 1990, a memorial was constructed to commemorate the tragedy. Khuduu Aral is another name for this location (Palace of Genghis khan). On the Kherlen river, the Khuduu Aral is a 30 kilometre long and 20 km wide plain. This plain is home to Genghis Khan’s Ikh Aurag (palace). There is a tiny lake nearby that is high in carbonate, soda, and chlorine and is utilized as a bath for nerve disorders.
