Telmen is a lovely lake with a diverse bird population. The lake is located at the crossroads of the forest-steppe and steppe ecosystems. The confined lake basin of Lake Telmen is mildly saline (about 4g per liter salinity). The unusual desert flower can be seen here,“zambaga”.
