The Tsenkheriin Agui (also known as Khoid Tsenkher) caves are famous for their cave paintings, which date back to 20.000 years. It’s worth noting that both mammoths and ostriches are pictured on the walls, indicating that they once roamed Mongolia around 15,000 years ago.
There are various passages to explore in the cave. The largest cavern is roughly 15 meters high and measures 12 by 18 meters. We’ll go for a short hike in the cave’s area.
The cave is 25 kilometers west of Mankhan Sum, in the province of Khovd.
