Tsetsee Gun

The south side of Ulaanbaatar is adorned by this mountain. One of Mongolia’s most revered mountains is the Bogd Khan. One of the Khentii Mountain Ranges has been protected by the state since 1778. Tsetsee Gun, at 2,257 meters above sea level, is one of the capital’s four holy peaks. The peak is primarily covered in Siberian larch. Over 220 types of flora, wild animals, and birds may be found on the Bogd Khan Mountain, including red deer, musk deer, Siberian deer, common buzzards, woodpeckers, and storks. It is now a popular hiking destination for the city’s population of approximately one million people.
